Work: Havannah 2023

The ’Havannah’ Series of collages using photopolymer intaglio prints grew out of work created for a commission. The collages feature the portrait of a young girl dancing and posing for a photo. They capture the girl’s playful exuberance, her youthful energy: she’s having fun. To create the collages, I made several photo intaglio plates which I used to make prints in a variety of colours on different papers.
